Registration for BiCupid takes a few steps and a bit more effort than many other bi-sexual dating and hook-up sites. We find this to be a great thing, as it ensures better-quality profiles!

To sign up, head to the BiCupid com login and click on the “Join Us” link. From there, you will be asked for your email address.

After your email address is registered, you will be asked to disclose your gender and/or sexual orientation. The choices available to choose from are Bi-Woman, Bi-Man, Woman, Man, Trans, and Couple. You will then be asked to share who you are looking for, with an option to make multiple choices from the same list of genders given to identify yourself.

Next, you will be asked for a username and to disclose your location. A street address is not needed. You are only asked to provide your city or general area. You will then be asked to give your height, ethnicity, and relationship status.

The following steps of the sign-up process are all prompts to add content to your profile and can not be skipped.

A minimum amount of 50 characters are necessary to move forward with your registration. However, no need to sweat not ideally presenting yourself; you can go back and edit this content later. You will be prompted to create a profile headline, tell a bit about yourself and what you are looking for, and finally, upload a photo.

After these steps, you must verify your email before having access to browse the site.

Website Design & Usability

Reviews BiCupid has had in the past state that the site’s interface is outdated. If this was true at one point in time, it is certainly not the case today.

The interface theme colors are simply white and black with a gradient rainbow-colored banner and logo.

But your homepage is a bit clustered.

On the left, you will find your profile picture with the number of profile photo views listed just beneath it. Further down in the same column, you will find your “Communications” space, where you can access your messages and see a list of people who have liked you, winked at you, or who have viewed your profile.

Even further down from there, you have quick access to the site's various unique features.

In the middle section, you have a search box at the top of the page followed by a view of all of the most recent activity on the site or with your personal connections.

On the right side, you will find a column highlighting new members and giving suggestions for possible matches.

Although there is a lot to look at on your homepage, it is all well-sectioned off which makes for easy navigation.

Features

The Bi Cupid dating site has features that we have all come to expect from a dating website, as well as a couple of unexpected features.

Of course, members are able to send private messages to one another, but the platform has various features to help you find the members you may want to send personal messages to.

The “Spark” feature is the Bi Cupid dating site version of swiping. The platform will present you with a selection of profile pics from other members. If you like what you see, click on the heart. If you're not interested, click on the X. If two members happen to “heart” each other's photos, the site will inform you of a mutual match. Nowadays, it is always nice to have an app to quickly access our favorite online platforms from our phones. Luckily, there is a BiCupid app available.

The app is free to download and available for both iOS and Android users. As mentioned in other Bi Cupid reviews, the app is well-designed and less cluttered than the desktop version of the site. It includes all of the same features as the desktop version of the platform and even improves the experience of some of the features. The “Spark” feature, for example, feels game-like and more intimate on the mobile app compared to the desktop version.

BiCupid.com Privacy and Security

BiCupid has been live and operating since 2003. The team behind the site places great value on the privacy and security of its members, and they are not quiet about sharing that fact. The Privacy Policy and conditions of site use are very clear on the site’s stance on data sharing and remind members of the importance of speaking out on any suspicious behavior.

After spending some time getting to know the ins and outs of the Bicupid dating app and the desktop version of the site, it seems that it really does have something for everyone.

Whether looking for a serious relationship or casual hookup, there was a big enough selection of active users on the platform that made it possible for us to have new likes, winks, and messages throughout the day, every day. The selection of members we found in our area all ranged between the ages of 18-50 and, quite honestly, were very good-looking with interesting profiles to boot. It’s easy to see why the site claims to be “effective”, as it certainly was for us.

Some profiles are lacking, but overall, it is great to be part of a dating community where members' profiles actually give a bit of information about themselves and what they are looking for.

We thoroughly enjoyed the unique features of the site, which were a very fun and lighthearted way to speak with and get to know other members.

Given the number of active members, reputation, the expertise of the platform's operator, and very fair pricing, BiCupid is a dating site we recommend trying out without hesitation.
