The name of this site gives a big clue as to what you can expect from this online dating platform. FlirtHook.com brings together a wide variety of members looking for casual connections or hookups. 

The people behind the profiles vary in age (users must be at least 18 years old to join), with a bulk of the site’s almost two million users being in their mid-twenties to mid-thirties. 

Although the website has been around for over 10 years, it has recently grown in popularity with young singles. In addition to a place to find partners, it also provides members with sexy entertainment.

Sign-Up Process

Here’s another dating website that has a simple, straightforward sign-up process. New users have the option of completing registration with an email address, birth date and creating a unique password. A faster option is linking the site with one of their social media accounts like Instagram or Snapchat, but please have a close look at the User Agreement before doing so.

After your sign-in information has been saved, you will be asked to provide at least one profile photo although it is not essential to complete your registration. You will then be asked to provide basic information such as your age, username, and location. As soon as these steps are complete, you are free to browse the site and what it has to offer.

The FlirtHookup com site design is very reminiscent of popular social media platforms. 

The theme colors are pale blue, close to Facebook blue, and a bright rose. The layout is clear and intuitive, making for easy navigation.

On the left-hand side of your home page, you’ll find your navigation bar that includes quick access to your messages, matches, and your favorites list. Under this section, you will find the search bar and, at the center of the page, a peek at everyone's most recent activity. 

On the right side of the page, you will have a peek at the other sections of the site, including recommended matches, people who have liked your profile, and people who have liked your profile.

Although the layout works just fine, the site feels rather dated.

Is FlirtHook a good site to find quick hookups?

Most of us can agree that we can’t tell if we are a good match for someone based on a profile photo alone. The content included in profiles is vital to finding the right people to speak with, and, unfortunately, finding the right matches may be slow-moving on this site due to low-quality profiles.

Outside of giving basic information like gender, age, and location, many profiles fail to share more information. The site has designed the profile to include bits of more personal information like body type, height, eye color, etc., but most of this information is left blank on many profiles.

There are even a good number of profiles that lack a photo. For a site with almost two million users, there’s not a ton of user information to browse through, and it’s never nice to come up with profile after profile that has zero photos.

The site gives users general dating site features like filtered searches, favorites lists, and generated lists of possible matches for you.

But as mentioned in other FlirtHookup reviews, the site may not be a legit way to meet others to hook up with in real life. It’s more of an entertainment site than it is a dating site.

Flirt Hookup seems to keep users around with some special features like sexy games that allow you to interact with other members, and for those of you who like to get to know other community members more intimately, there is a Live Cam section to dive into.

We have come to expect to have an app for most websites now, especially dating platforms, and this site meets those expectations. There is an app available for users to download. The app is a reflection of the desktop version of the site. It is well-organized, easy to navigate, and runs smoothly.

Membership & Payment Methods

When you’re browsing for info on this platform, you may come across another flirt & hookup review stating that you have access to the site for free, but “free” is a stretch.

Registration, as well as the ability to view profiles and read and answer any messages you may receive, are free; you will have to pay for everything else. 

Sending messages to other users, adding profiles to your favorites list, and taking advantage of the Sexy Games and Live Chat features are only available with a paid membership.

Security & Anti-Scam

It is an actual site, yes. It offers users a chance to connect with others and offers some online adult entertainment.

Unfortunately, it’s hard to give an answer to whether or not it is a secure site. The site seems safe and didn’t give us any suspicions of mal play during our time on the site. But many other reviews of FlirtHookup make an important note of the fact that there is a lot of information in the User Agreement that should be read before joining. The site is not as “private” as many other sites are.

The site does not draw attention to its security and anti-scam efforts, and that is a bit telling. 

The User Agreement states that once registered, you are allowing the site royalty-free use of all content and photos published on the site, with the exception of personal financial and billing information.

Maybe you are not being scammed out of your money by the site, but the site’s ability to use any content, including photos, and use it as they please rubs us the wrong way. We prefer to keep our online exchanges private and hate the idea of our face and other personal information being used in other parts of the internet without our knowing.

Customer Service

If you run into a problem that needs resolving or have a question about something pertaining to your site experience, be prepared to wait for an answer. Understandably with such a high number of users, it takes time for the Customer Service team to respond to all questions, but the wait time makes us worry about the number of questions or complaints they may receive and what they may be about.

Is Flirthookup Real?

It is an actual site, but not one that we are in favor of.

It’s our opinion that this is a site to skip past. There are many other casual dating and hookup sites that give you more bang for your buck.

The quality of the profiles lack a lot of information and, in many cases, photos! We ran across quite a lot of fake profiles during our time here, which gives the impression that the FlirtHookup team does not invest much time to upkeep the site or pay much attention to what's going on within it.

And, unlike Flirthookup, there are many more websites out there that care about and respect your privacy. Most dating sites protect the content you share on their sites, but FlirtHook up is ready to use it to make quick cash. The User Agreement makes mentions that;

“Upon posting any User Content on or through the Services, You grant Us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, non-exclusive, and sublicensable license to use and process such User Content…”

We wouldn’t want to be spending a long period of time on that website, and in hindsight, it’s now understandable why there were so many profiles without photos.
