Although the site is said to be a great site for casual flings, most site members are between the ages of 35-49 years old and looking for love! In operation since the mid-’90s, the AsianDate dating site claims to host over 15 million member profiles with an 80% success rate. Even for the most successful of dating sites, we found this rate to be suspiciously high, and we were eager to learn more about the platform.
AsianDate Sign-Up Process
Just as we mentioned at the start of this AsianDate review, sign-up on this website is only available to men. Frustratingly, we were not able to find information on where the women come from. Are they scouted out by members of the AsianDateTeam? Is there a special sign-up portal that only women in Asian countries have access to?
Despite our many questions, we moved forward with the sign-up process. The other AsianDate.com reviews are quite accurate when they say that sign-up to this site takes 5 minutes from start to finish. New members must simply provide their real name, birthdate, and location. After, you will be asked for your email address and prompted to verify it by clicking on a link sent to your personal inbox.
Once verification is complete, you will be redirected to your personal dashboard, where you can add additional information to your profile, like your spoken languages, marital status, profession, number of children you may have, hobbies and interests, and even add more photos. It became apparent very quickly after signing up that this site had a large number of fake profiles. After reading individual reviews of this site on trusted review sites such as SiteJabber and TrustPilot, it was clear that we were not alone in the impression. Many people claim to feel cheated, scammed, and generally unsafe on this website.
The site claims to personally select women that can be found on this site. Still, many users speculate that these are bots, and therefore your money will not create possible real-life relationships with women.
After a short while on this site and reading about other site members' experiences, we feel confident that your money is better spent elsewhere.
